Virtual Birth Doula Support
Doula support comes in many forms. Sometimes circumstances do not allow for a doula to be physically present during birth or you’d prefer a virtual doula. I provide all the benefits of a birth doula including informational and emotional support throughout pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. I am the guide for you and any support persons to help you with decision making, movement recommendations, advocacy, reassurance, and answering any questions. I work with people anywhere in the US.
Doula Package includes:
Free video consultation
2 Prenatal Meetings to discuss your birth preferences, our communication plan, comfort measures, labor positions, postpartum planning, and explore various labor scenarios.
Unlimited Phone & Email Support throughout pregnancy through to 8 weeks postpartum.
On-call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks through birth.
Continuous Labor Support: I will be in communication with you via phone, video, and texting support throughout labor, birth and early postpartum. I will be there as emotional support, helping your feel calm, confident, and in control. I will talk you through relaxation and breathing techniques, position changes, massage and touch suggestions, as well as other comfort measures. I will be there as informational support to make sure you have all the information you need to make informed decisions and that you are aware of all of your options.
Birth Team Support: If there is a partner or other support person present during labor and birth, it is my goal to make sure they are equipped with and confident in their skills to provide support.
1 Postpartum Meeting within a week after baby is born to discuss the birth, answer questions, and offer other resources you may desire.
Fee: $1,200
A deposit is due upon contract signing. Total fee to be paid by 38 weeks gestation. Payment plans accepted. Pay by Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal. FSA/HSA accepted.
